Horse Bit Manufacturing for Wholesale Buyers

Two complete horse bits showing different mouthpiece and cheek arrangements

We manufacture English and Western horse bits for tack businesses. Build your range around defined mouthpieces and cheek designs, with each combination identified for wholesale ordering.

Mouthpiece Details Matter

Record mouth width, thickness and joint arrangement, together with any port or roller design. A close photograph helps us identify the reference; dimensions make the requested version clearer.

Keep these details attached to its model code. Similar colors or center pieces do not make two complete bits equivalent.

Cheek and Ring Specifications

Include the outer hardware with the mouthpiece information. This helps keep the version you select aligned with the version we quote.

Rings
State the required diameter and how the ring connects to the mouthpiece.
Cheeks
Record the cheek form and length, with the attachment arrangement shown clearly.
Reference
Use one model code and a matching image for each combination. Mark any requested changes separately.

Materials by Component

Some designs combine different materials in the mouthpiece and cheeks. Tell us which material you require for each relevant part rather than describing the whole bit by its color.

A silver, gold or blue appearance alone does not establish the alloy. Confirm the component specification for the selected model.

Make the selection useful

Build a Representative Sample Range

Choose samples around the designs and sizes you plan to sell. This gives your tack advisers a clearer basis for assessment than selecting several similar-looking pieces.

  1. Cover the main designs

Include the mouthpiece and cheek combinations that matter to your customers.

  2. Keep versions identifiable

Record each sample’s model, dimensions, materials and finish beside its intended order quantity.

  3. Review the selected version

Use qualified tack advice for suitability. One sample does not approve every size, horse or configuration.

Keep Bitless Products Distinct

Hackamores and bitless bridles are not another mouthpiece option. Keep them separate in your buying plan and customer-facing range so the product type is clear.

Two ways to start

Choose an Existing Model or a Custom Design

Wholesale selection

Send existing model references with quantities for each version. Add the component specifications, finish and packing you want included in the quotation.

Custom development

For changed geometry, materials, markings or packaging, send your drawing or sample reference and a clear change list. We can then discuss development and sampling for that design.

Minimum quantities are model-specific. Pricing, sampling, production timing and any tooling or development charges need to be agreed for your chosen models and changes.

From range idea to enquiry

Send the Versions You Want to Source

A short, organized list is enough to start the conversation. We will use it to discuss the models and details needed for your quotation.

  • Model references and matching images
  • Mouthpiece, ring and cheek dimensions
  • Materials, finish and quantity per version
  • Packing, destination and any custom changes
